Kova and Ria’s story gets even better with every book published. I truly never knew what was going to happen next.
I loved the angst, I loved the relationship, and I loved the impending doom that waits around every corner. Overall, Twist was another great addition to the Off Balance series. Every page ties up another piece of my heart and shaves off another sliver of my soul. I have to give a round of applause to Lucia Franco for making it possible to sit in one spot a read a six hundred page book in one day. Of Prayers and hopes that these two will finally find their happily ever afters. Now It’s an endless array of cliffhangers and emotions. I had no idea this story would be so fucking consuming.
I just thought I would sit down and read an angsty story. When I first started this series, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. It must be said, if you despise age gap romances that involve a 16 year old and a 32 year old, then this may not be the series for you. This series is based on a very taboo relationship between an elite gymnast (Adrianna) and her Russian stud of a coach (Kova). He’ll do anything in his power to help her through. Kova has threats of his own to deal with, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to stand beside Ria and help her fight her way through all that’s stacked up against her. Now Adrianna has to find her true strength and fight the impending threat and illness that is living within her body. Until something that is out of her control completely steps in and threatens each and every one of her dreams. You will be lost in this story line if you haven’t read the first three books.Īdrianna Rossi’s Olympic dreams are so close she can nearly feel them in her hands. It is very important you read the first three books in the series (Balance, Execution, Release) before diving into Twist. Twist is the fourth book in the Off Balance series. So be warned, once you start this series, you won’t be able to stop. You’ll feel so much anger for these two….īut you’ll also feel hope that they can finally get their shit together.Įach book will leave you wanting more and leave you hoping for the best but expecting the absolute worse. Only to be thrown through the emotional wringer all over again. You’ll think the best is FINALLY happening…. You’ll feel anger, sadness, sympathy, and joy.
